Vehicle Cameras and Safety Recording
Roadvia vehicles may use dash cameras, interior cameras, exterior cameras, GPS, or other recording and safety tools during lessons, pickup/drop-off, road test preparation, road test support, and vehicle operation.
Why Recordings May Be Used
- Student, instructor, and public safety
- Accident or incident review
- Insurance claims
- Dispute resolution
- Instructor training and quality control
- Student conduct or safety review
- Protection against false or inappropriate allegations
- Legal, DMV, or law enforcement compliance when required
Audio Recording
Roadvia may disable audio recording unless audio recording is clearly disclosed and consented to. If audio recording is used, students and parents/guardians must consent before lessons.
No Public Marketing Without Permission
Roadvia will not post student lesson footage, student images, student voices, or in-vehicle recordings for public marketing without separate permission.
Access to Recordings
Access to recordings is limited to Roadvia staff, instructors, insurers, legal representatives, claims handlers, law enforcement, or others with a legitimate business, safety, insurance, or legal reason.
Retention
Recordings may be overwritten automatically unless they are saved for safety, incident, claim, dispute, legal, training, or business reasons.
Consent
By booking or participating in a Roadvia lesson, the student and, if applicable, parent/guardian acknowledge and agree that Roadvia vehicles may use video, camera, GPS, or safety recording tools as described in this notice.
